2025’s competition commences on
Final – Sunday 23rd February 2025 at 15:00 pm at
Mansfield Palace Theatre
The 2025 heats commence on:
17th February 2025 – youngster’s night for 7 - 11 year olds
18th February 2025 – senior entries for 12 – 18 year olds
19th February 2025 - senior entries for 12 - 18 year olds
All heats will commence at 6.30 pm and will be held at Vision West Notts College, Mansfield.
At Youngsters’ Night on Monday 17th February, BBC Radio Nottingham’s Jo Davies will be both judging and presenting the awards.

Mansfield Rotary is committed to providing a safe environment for those attending and performing at the Mansfield Rotary Junior Showtime competition. The safeguarding policy incorporates the policy of national Rotary(see the RGBI policy as amended at 31 January 2024)
The designated safeguarding officer for Junior Showtime is Paul BACON telephone (07973) 269033, who will be present throughout the auditions and the final and to whom any concerns, incidents, or accidents must be reported by parents/carers, dance and vocal coaches together with the Rotary personnel present at each venue.
At the Heats and Final parents/carers, dance teachers and speech coaches are responsible for the continuing care of their children/contestants and this includes the supervision of their students in practice and changing areas.
Additional supervision and support will be provided by DBS accredited Rotary personnel
An accident/incident report book will be held at each venue.
At the Create Theatre, the Main Entrance Door will be locked at 6:30 pm and will remain locked throughout the auditions.
Two Rotary personnel with swipe cards (provided by the Create Theatre staff) will remain at those doors throughout the evening to facilitate an exit in the event of an emergency evacuation.
At the Palace Theatre, admission to the backstage area will be controlled by Palace theatre staff. Admission will only be allowed to those on the lists provided to the Theatre by the Safeguarding Officer. Names of those competing in the Final and their parents/ carers including dance school and vocal entries and their DBS accredited supervisors must deliver all names of personnel planning to go backstage three days prior to the Final to the Safeguarding Officer.
